NCA (National Confectioners Association) predicts 2008 will be a strong year for chocolate and other categories like exotic flavored candies and sugar-free gum.
Willy Wonka Runts are a good example of a bulk vend candy with exotic shapes and flavorings that will capitalize on this trend for 2008.
A terrific example in the gumball catagory is Fancy Fruits Gumballs, which include a mix of 5 popular flavors: Kiwi, Cantaloupe, Pink Grapefruit, Apple, and Pineapple.
Sugar-free gum continues to take the spot-light again with NCA reporting sales up 13.5% in 2007!
