Whether you purchased a new American Changer with the VPOS credit card reader, are adding the NAYAX credit card option to your existing machine, or looking to upgrade your credit card reader, this guide will help walk you through setting up your new system.

American Changer® machines AC110, AC603, AC604, AC605, AC2006, AC2007, AC2207 and AC6007 feature the NAYAX system. Other models may have option AC7777-NAYAXVT available as an add-on. For select existing machines, we offer credit card kit options.

Choose a Processor

Choose which credit card processing company you would like to work with:

NAYAX or Heartland Payment Systems

No transaction fee. Processing fee can range from 3-5%, dependent on the credit card used.

$10 activation fee per machine

NAYAX charges a monthly fee of $9.99 for LAN or wireless communication, remote monitoring, and telephone support

Other processors are available but will be Mag Stripe only. Additional fees will apply.

Fill out the NAYAX or Heartland Activation Form

On the next page, you will find the NAYAX Activation form. Kindly fill out the form and fax (1-888-258-7040) or email scanned form to onboarding-na@nayax.com. A NAYAX representative will reach out with their agreement that will need to be signed and returned in full before they can begin the activation.

NAYAX will activate your device

After your account database has been established, you will receive a login/password from NAYAX within 3-5 business days which will indicate the device(s) are ready for use. From then you can email NAYAX and add additional machines by providing them 2-3 days before you plan on installing additional NAYAX devices or going live with your American Changer® machine(s).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACTIVATING THE NAYAX CASHLESS/REMOTE MONITORING SYSTEM-USA 2020

Congratulations on purchasing the AMERICAN CHANGER/NAYAX Cashless/Remote Monitoring Solution. This kit will allow you to accept credit cards on your equipment. Our goal is to provide you with a smooth and seamless implementation. Upon receipt of your equipment, please fill out the information listed below and fax/email this form back to us. We will be following this form up with our agreement that will need to be signed and returned in full before we can begin the activation process, which can take up to 5 business days after documents have been completed and returned.NO ACCOUNTS WILL BE CREATED WITHOUT COMPLETED AGREEMENTS.

Upon completing your NAYAX account in our database, you will receive an email invitation from our automated system asking you to create your user name and password, please note this will expire within 72 hours of being sent. The logins will allow you to access a secure website to review your machines status and monitor your credit card and cash sales.

Once the system has been activated you will be billed a $10.00 activation fee, per machine. There is also a monthly monitoring fee of $9.99 per month, per unit. This fee is for the wireless communication, use of the software management system and telephone support.

From then you will be able to email us and add additional machines by providing us 2-3 days before you plan on installing additional Nayax devices or going live with your machine. UPGRADING AN EXISTING NAYAX SYSTEM.

Upgrading from the NAYAX 3g Amit to 4g Amit or the VPOS Touch

Upgrading from a 3 g Amit to 4 g Amit in an existing machine Only the Amit needs replacing. No additional hardware is

required from American Changer. The software in the current boards will work.

Upgrading from the 3 G Amit to the new VPOS TOUCH

New software is needed. Depending on the machine model and control board, American Changer can either email the new

software to the customer, have the customer send in the boards to be updated or purchase new boards. Either option will incur a cost to the customer. Please contact American Changer for

further assistance.

In addition, i f a customer wants to upgrade from the 3 G Amit to the new 1 piece unit- VPOS TOUCH and connect via LAN, they

will need the NAYAX RJ 45 ( male) to Cat 6 ( female) cable.

Q: Can I dispense quarters/money with a Credit Card Reader?

A: Only tokens, pre-valued cards, or tickets can be dispensed from an American Changer® machine. I f you are in need of

custom or stock tokens, please visit www. Hoffman Mint. com.

Q: Which American Changer® Machines can have a Credit Card Reader? A: AC 1001 , AC 1002 , AC 1005 , AC 2001 , AC 2002 , AC 2005 ,

AC 2009 , AC 2221 , AC 2225 , AC 6000 , AC 8002 , Rowe BC-1500 A

& BC-1600 A models. For Rowe models, please note that a

validator will be removed to accommodate the NAYAX Credit Card reader

AC 1 10 , AC 603 , AC 604 , AC 605 , AC 2006 , AC 2007 , AC 2207 &

AC 6007 have the NAYAX System included as a standard feature.

Q: Are there other options besides NAYAX?


A: NAYAX is currently the only credit card system American Changer offers.

NAYAX Amit system has the credit card reader and

modem as two separate units. The latest Amit system is the 4 g Amit ( AMIT 3 . 0 ) . This will be phased out in 2021 .

VPOS Touch has the modem built into the credit card reader. I t offers a high-resolution color touchscreen, and accepts swipe, contact or contactless, EMV chip cards and mobile payments.

NAYAX FOR CANADIAN OPERATORS.

What NAYAX credit card readers can be used in Canada?

Amit and VPOS, VPOS Touch, and Onyx. Please note the Amit/VPOS l i fe cycle is coming to an end in early/mid 2021 .

What processors are available?

NAYAX can be the merchant on record ( NAYAX will reimburse back the customer) or customer can be merchant on record and s ign contract

with processor. NAYAX is EMV chip certified. Interac processes via NUVEI ( https://nuvei. com/en-us/).

What SIM card is used?

All NAYAX devices used in Canada are installed with NA modem and Tele 2 s im card.

Transaction limit amount?

Currently the transaction l imit without a PIN is $ 99 . 00 CAD. This does not depend on the reader type.

Do the readers accept all cards?

Accepts Master Card/Visa and Interac. Mobile Payments are also accepted.
