October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and throughout the month many people will host “Pink Days” and other fundraisers to raise money for cancer research. Last October, a group of friends and I organized a fundraiser with local bands, raffles, and a silent auction.

We filled assorted vases with pastel pink gumballs and hot pink gumballs to use as Breast Cancer Awareness themed decorations, and used them as raffle prizes throughout the night. Some of the pink candy and pink gifts that we auctioned and raffled include a pink giant gummy bear , small pink gumball machines , and a pink Northwestern bulk vending machine .

We gave out Pink Ink Temporary Tattoos and Think Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Stickers to all the guests and they were a big hit.
