Everyone Loves Bouncy Balls
The Bouncy Ball, also know as a Super Ball, was invented by a California chemist named Norman Stingley. In 1965, Stingley spent his spare time experimenting with rubber. He compressed various scraps of synthetic rubber together under about 3500 pounds of pressure per square inch and the bouncy ball was born.
Bouncy balls are extremely popular for bulk vending machines and are sold for 25 cents or 50 cents for the 27mm or 1” size and 50 cents, 75 cents or even $1 for the 45mm – 49mm bouncy balls.
